There are so many people out there in this stressful world who suffer from terrible pain which can sometimes become chronic. It can manifest anywhere in the body from neck to shoulders to lower back... Often times there won't be a specific diagnosis which can leave you in some ways, more frustrated because there is no medical label for it. Reiki is extremely effective in healing pain caused by emotional tension and psychological distress that over time has built up inside the body. Reiki helps the body release old and held onto issues which allows the body to relax and open up. In its place a new balance and calm takes over which can increase a persons energy levels and minimizes the pain. If you're suffering from severe pain and it has been chronic for sometime, then I would recommend 3 or 4 full 45min Reiki treatments over a period of 2 to 3 weeks. (This session is for 15 minutes, but I offer 45min sessions on my site under "Reiki and Energy Healing".) These Reiki treatments then enable a good build up of the energies where you'll feel the benefits and improvements themselves. There are also cases where emotional pain presents as physical pain. Deal with the issues behind the discomfort and that back pain that comes from feeling “unsupported” may lessen or disappear entirely. The throbbing shoulder that comes from “shouldering the burden” suddenly has an ease of movement that has been missing for months, sometimes years. Sore joints, knees, ankles, digestion issues, headaches…all can improve when warm, healing, universal energy is applied.
